Putin: Russia–Ukraine trade grows despite Kiev attempts to interfere

MOSCOW, Dec 20 (PRIME) -- Trade between Russia and Ukraine is growing despite interference of the Kiev authorities, President Vladimir Putin said Thursday during an annual press conference.

“We want peace and prosperity throughout Ukraine, including in the Donbass region. We are interested in this, because Ukraine remains one of our largest trade and economic partners. Trade between Russia and Ukraine is growing despite all the efforts of the current Kiev authorities. This year it has grown as well,” Putin said.
